Oh my goodness, I love this book! Afternoon Tea has beautiful pictures, and I'm seriously going to make every recipe it has in it at some point. Oh, they look so delicious, feminine, petite! I'm dreaming of making tea parties part of Stone Cottage. Ahh, yes. Who knew a little history of tea parties with pictures and the history of three-tiered serving platters could be so interesting? I have a tiered pie platter and will now be looking for three beautiful plates to put there instead, with the hopes of having sweet tea parties with dear friends. I'm reading this little cook book cover to cover this week.
I'm knitting on my Oaklet Shawl. The rows take some time right now, but it's a nice size, not as small as I expected, so I'm pleased. I'm trying my best to get to the border soon for a little more interesting knitting.
Have a beautiful day my friends! The sky is blue here today, and if the sky is blue, there is something to smile about. Don't you agree?
I'm sharing what I'm reading and knitting today as part of Ginny's Yarn Along over at Small Things:)
