Good morning! After breakfast and a little knitting yesterday, I spent some time outside and it was really nice to see the sun shining. When February allows me outside with just a jacket; I am so grateful! I plan more of the same today because Thursday is homeschool network day for our family, so my son is in class all day. Our homeschool network is made up of a group of 80 families with the kids in classes like a small, private school. The subjects they study are wonderful: literature, science, speech, and my son likes it, so I'm very pleased.
The Anna Vest that I am knitting, mentioned earlier, is made with the Andalusian Stitch (see below). An easy pattern made over four rows, which creates a nice texture. Great for this rustic vest. I plan to get the back done over the next couple days to share.
Andalusian stitch pattern:
Row 1 - Knit all stitches
Row 2 - Purl all stitches
Row 3 - Knit one, purl one, K last stitch.
Row 4 - Purl all stitches.
Repeat rows 1-4 for pattern.
Well dear friends, I hope the path you take today, brings you at the end of your day, to a happy home. Jeannine:)
