Hello! How was your weekend? I hope the weather was wonderful and you found time for what you love to do. One of my children is sick, so I'm writing this Sunday evening. Spring has brought allergies, colds, asthma, and now fever with it to our house this year. I'm sad and upset when my kids are sick and it never fails to be the moment we have the most going on, including an ACT exam on Tuesday.
I hope to be back on Wednesday for a proper visit, but for now I just have a moment to say a quick hello.
I'm still working on the Romance shawlette and doing a little sock knitting. I think there will be yarn delivered in the mail tomorrow, so that will surely pick me up a little. And looking around the yard helps calm the worries. Would you like to see what I saw today?
I had no idea how many varieties of Daffodils there are. After planting 200 bulbs in the fall, I ended up with several different types, each beautiful in it's own way.
And before I go, I need to say who won the project bag give away. I put all the names in a bowl and had two of my sons draw two names. Two! ;)
The winner of the llama bag is Lauraj, and because I had to make two bags for the drawing, I decided to give away the camper bag too! The winner of the camping bag is Leisa Henderson. I'll be contacting you both Wednesday, and I'll be mailing them out on Thursday this week:) Thank you all for participating and visiting with me here! It was fun to sew knowing I'd be sharing with new friends. I have boys requesting hats and socks now, so I'll be gifting to the family for a while now, but I will have more give aways in the future.
Well friends, I hope your work week is easy, breezy, and I hope when you get home each day, there is peace, love, and wellness found there. xo Jeannine
