Hello to you! I started my day outside, setting up a vintage tablecloth in the yard, with knitting and reading. Back inside, the morning also included frying bacon and rushing out the door a little while later for piano and violin lessons. The moments I take to slow down however, when my mind and heart are quiet, are what carry me through.
I’m joining Ginny at Small Things, today for her Yarn Along. I'm reading A Longing for Paris, by Sarah Mae. It is a Christian book and has lovely biblical stories and references. A book about finding joy where you are, in every moment, especially for busy moms. I think we share some of the same thoughts in regards to that, but I’m kind of past being overwhelmed, so I’m not sure about it. It’s more of a biblical study, not the writer’s story exactly, but more of her advice in case you are interested.
I have two new knits on the needles. The Raindrops on Roses Shawl and the Fiddlehead Scarf (with the Apple Blossom yarn I frogged).
Have a beautiful day friends. Jeannine xo
