A sweet deer met me to say hello as I pulled onto my street after working yesterday. That’s when I knew I could start to relax. A quick stop at the mailbox helped too. I found the delightful, Night Neighborhood cross stitch kit, which had been delivered earlier in the day. “Okay, home now.”
Today then, there will be some sewing (those tiny stitches will no doubt slow things down,) knitting, some baking, and the jelly jars are ready. I’m grateful to be home. I think I will appreciate my work in the kitchen, even washing dishes, and I'm grateful to be sitting outside with my embroidery hoop, making something pretty for my home. The world will not stop rushing, so I’ll make the intentional choice, to stop rushing in the world:) Jelly making sounds perfect for today.
Whether you love busy, or desire slow, I hope you have the most beautiful day friends. Jeannine xo
