Good morning to you! I hope your day if off to a good start! I had a lovely birthday night last night, arriving home after work to find all the candles about the house lit by my husband and youngest, and they tried to make me a pie! I could taste their effort and feel their love. (A change from my original post, but one that suits me better.) We were eating it, when I asked what they used for the "top crust" and finally Jordan ran to the refrigerator and pulled out Pillsbury croissant rolls. We had a good laugh and I ate mostly ice-cream;)
Spring break is really cutting down on knitting time. I'm slowly working on my LeReine shawl and loving the pattern. I'll gladly sacrifice knitting time though to have everyone home with me. When it comes to knitting, a few stitches made can create the same calm and joy as when we knit many. Wouldn't you agree?
At the moment, there is a mental list being created for Easter dinner. My daughter and her husband are coming early Sunday so we have the whole day together. It has been a while since they've made it here, and we are all so happy when we're together. I need to figure out what to feed everyone all day. That's five hungry men with me from morning until night!
Today is looking promising; cloudy, windy, gloomy. Knitting weather! Perhaps only knitters know how precious a day like today can be.
I took a picture of a tree in our yard after dark last night. I love its beauty and how it sits in the darkness and waits for the promise of a new day.
Have a beautiful Thursday friends! The weekend is straight ahead now! Jeannine:)
