I've missed you. I'm always happy to "see" you here!
And, I'm always happy to see the road that leads home, to life At Stone Cottage:
How are you? The temperature is finally to the point where yard work can happen. I hope some time this weekend, the window boxes can be filled with little pink flowers and bright green ivy.
I've been so busy! I am going back to work part-time and that decision was a little unexpected. I ran into a former co-worker, now supervisor, and one thing lead to another…and...that lead to a decision to take a test, for an additional credential on the old work badge. There is studying going on, and it should take about a month. But oh boy, that certainly cuts into my time to gather here with friends. I hope to be here every few days while I study, and certainly between now and Monday for my little give away:)
Yesterday was the last day of homeschool network for the year, followed by a performance and getting home quite late. There was singing and musical instruments, and recitations in Spanish...a sweet night. But what I loved most of all, was observing how other kids were talking to Jordan, a little drawn to him, always having something to say to him. It made me really happy:) I'm so thankful for that. School has not always been so happy for him.
On to knitting then!! Whoohoo, I've been staying up late to knit a little and not minding at all. Because, well, you know that feeling you get, when you can finally slow down enough to knit? At the end of these full days, I welcome my knitting next to me on the couch, like a sweet, best friend.
I just started the second color in my gradient shawl, and at the moment, I'm thinking I want everything I knit, to be done in gradient color ways! So fun!
The sun is streaming in the door as I type, and I'm so thankful that the only noise I hear, is my typing and the birds singing. It's a beautiful, gorgeous, Friday. And Fridays are kind of like llamas. You never tire of them.
I wish you a perfectly happy, wonderful weekend:)
P.S. No busy week is complete without a few computer glitches right? Ho-hum. Nothing a second cuppa can't fix. xo :)
